Jacob will 4 months old at the end of this week. They grow up so fast. We are learning the pluses and minuses of home ownership. School has started off on a good note, and I'm really enjoying time alone with Jacob. Heath is off a couple of days during the week, so we've been enjoying time together as well. Nothing new and exciting to report at the moment just everyday life. :)

So I realized I haven't been on here in a while......
I didn't realize that I hadn't updated this since last december. Yikes! I'll summarize then. Christmas was spent in SC. The kids had a lot of fun. In January we were told that the owner wanted to sell our house. We were not interested in buying the townhouse however it took them until the end of Feb. to get back to us. Then I started looking for houses. I convinced Heath to buy a house. So as of April 30th we became homeowners for the first time. We found a great little three bedroom house. It's got a great yard and kitchen with lots of storage space. We are really happy with it. I'm excited to have our own place. Heath is doing well at his job and seems to like it. Alexis went through a horrible school year so we've transferred her to a different program in a different school. We've seen a great improvement already. Hunter is doing very well academically, however his teacher keeps reminding me that he's very excuberant. He loves going to school and is very excited about going into first grade. We now also have a new addition to our family. Jacob Benjamin Blanton was born on May 28th. He weighed 7lbs and 13ozs. He's a very healthy baby and only cries when hungry or dirty. We all love him so much. Alexis and Hunter love him a little too much sometimes. So we've had quite the busy spring. Summer has been hot hot hot! I really don't like this kind of weather. You almost need an air mask for when you go outside. What would we do without air conditioning? So that sums everything up, I'm sure I'm leaving out lots of details. I'll see if I can fill them in later.

December 16th.
So I haven't been on here in a while so I thought I'd update eveyone on us. Nothing major has happened, just an update. Alexis had a sleepover for her birthday party the first week in December and the girls had a lot of fun. I went to the doctor and got some very good news that all was well and was looking good. So no more worries. I still feel blah and sleepy and still have a very small appetite which does not include fish of any kind or shrimp. I'm still stuggling with meat, onions, and other smelly foods. No mixed salads like chicken, tuna, or egg. Anyways these are just some of them. We will not continue this list. Both children are very excited for Christmas to come and we are excited for it to be over with. We're struggling for a gift for Alexis from Santa. Hopefully we will figure it out soon. I've been volunteering again at the school for the Santa shop. Alexis got into a new therapy group at the Mea'Alofa Autism Support Center. We are hoping this will help her greatly with school and home of course. We will be going there every Wednesday for two hours after school. She will also start attending a social group on Thursdays. Heath really seems to like his job, and is enjoying working with the scouts. I'm coaching girl's basketball for church again this year, which will be lots of fun. So as you can see we are busy, busy, busy.
