Soccer

Here are pics. from yesterday's games. Hunter decided it was better to befriend the kids on the opposite team rather than play against them. It didn't last very long but it was funny. Unfortunately I didn't capture any pictures of it.

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter everyone! Here is how we celebrate easter. Church, come home take pictures with and without easter baskets and then we get to explore easter baskets! We will be making blueberry muffins today, requested by Alexis. Our special dinner will either be meatloaf or chicken and rice. Here are a few pics of our Sunday so far.

On Wednesday my kids were in a talent show put on by our primary. They did a great job. Unfortunatley for me my video camera which I charged all day only lasted one whole minute before it died on me. So I didn't get any pictures and I'm really upset by this. Hunter told jokes and was pretty good. Alexis choreographed her own dance. She was good as well. All of the kids had fun I think. Mine did anyway. I know a couple of the other parents got it so maybe I can get some footage or pictures from them. Easter is upon us already and I can't believe it. So hopefully I will get my act together and have some pictures on Sunday night. We also have Spring break this week so more photo opportunities.

Those first pictures were obviously of the rehearsal dinner. These next few will be of the wedding.

Kori's Wedding

I'm starting to feel really old and not just because I turned 30, but because my little sister Kori got married on April 2nd. She looked beautiful. Every wedding has it's story and this one is no exception. I have pictures of the rehearsal as well as the wedding.
The next post will be about the talent show tonight which both children are in. So it should be a lot of fun.

I got a memory check of what it's like to have a toddler running around the house. Our friend Jennifer needed someone to watch her son while she went to see her husband graduate boot camp so we offered to keep Easton who is 19 months old. Quite the adventure.

Alexis was chosen to represent her class for the Young Writers. She got to go to a celebration where the young writers from all of the schools from grades K-8 were recognized and she got a blue ribbon. We're encouraging her to write as many stories as she can. I hope this may be a way she can really talk to us.

March

Alexis and Hunter are now into soccer and it's going full swing if only the weather would cooperate. Hunter isn't sure if he really likes it, but Alexis is still loving it.
