back to normal whatever that is
Well we've been out of touch for a few weeks. Heath has been in and out but now he's home for good. We are very excited! He will soon transfer to his new job after his long leave period. I've redecorated the house with the help of some really great friends. I'm really working on my organizing skills. Heath is not quite so happy that all of his things keep getting moved around, but the overall effect seems to meet approval. The kids are getting bigger. I look at them and just wonder how they can grow so fast. Hunter just finished our co-op preschool and next week will finish the preschool at the Primary School. I should have some cute pictures next week. Alexis is still doing well in school or as well as she can do. As this school year comes to a close we are sad to see her wonderful teachers go. I will still see them next year because Hunter will be at the school. She will be going to the Intermediate School. Big girl. Hunter and Alexis continually keep us laughing. They are quick and insightful. They are both excited about summer starting. I've already been hit up to go to the pool, the water park and the beach. Things on our to do list for the summer.

Okay so I'm not so good at remembering to update the blog every week let alone every day. So here's what's been happening with us lately. Soccer season is over. Both kids played their last game on Saturday. Yeah for me. My schedule just opened up. So on to the next one. We are hoping for swimming lessons. If not for both at least for Alexis. Heath will be returning soon. We are very excited about that. I say soon but I don't mean in the next few days. This patrol has seemed to last a very long time. He is officially leaving the boat after the first week of June. So we will get plenty of quality time with him before he transfers to his new shore duty unit. Once again Yeah me! Alexis is still struggling with reading but is overall doing very well. She gave a talk in Primary today and she read most of it herself. She did very well. Hunter gave the scripture last week and he did very well too. We are very excited that summer is just around the corner. I should say they(the children)are excited. I have been rearranging the house with the help of some friends who don't mind moving furniture. So part of my house is in utter chaos, mostly my bedroom where everything seems to end up. My living room is nice though and I know that the rest will fall in place as I work at it. Heath doesn't really know what changes I have made and we are talking drastic. It will be interesting to see his expression. He gets to visit on Mother's day afternoon, so I will have to take pictures and post them that night. I don't have a lot of pictures, but I have a few from Spring break. We went to the bowling alley on Wednesday. On Thursday we went to Kangaroo Jacs. It's a great place for the kids to let loose. On Friday we went to see the Snows and had a great picnic and playtime. Saturday of course was soccer. I don't remember Monday and Tuesday but I'm sure we went to the Library one of those days. So that is all for now.
